Raqs Sharqi (Bellydancing) is a form of Bellydance that celebrates the beauty of the human body. What is not so commonly known is that Bellydance is an excellent form of fitness for all body types, ages, and physical ability AND helps to balance the body’s Chakras at the same time!
Join Lynne Hartwell as we learn basic Bellydance movements, learn how the movements are connected to each chakra, and have a lot of FUN in the process! Optional-there will be pretty coin hip-scarves to wear during class.
Lynne Hartwell learned Bellydance from Professional Dancer/Instructor Rose Champagne back in 2003. Since then she has learned from other Professional dancers/instructors Shifah, Shalimar, etc.
She performed in both Ma and CT with the Bellydance Troupe “Wind, Sand, Desert Feet” from 2003-2012. Since then she has been teaching Beginner Bellydance in MA and in Private Parties in CT. She is also a Spiritual Life Coach and promotes Positive Self-Image for women, men, and teens/children.
