Laughter is a powerful way to alleviate loneliness, reduce social anxiety, and facilitate connection with others. Laughing lowers stress levels and increases levels of oxytocin, the hormone which facilitates bonding.

Join us to do exercises which have been recommended by Dr. Andrew Weil and Oprah. Join us to make new friends! We will be doing intentional laughter, deep breathing exercises, and games which encourage child-like playfulness. Facilitator bio: Laura Le has been sharing the power of laughter in hospitals, drug rehabs, senior centers, and workplaces for the last seven years. She has been featured in the Hartford Courant and has been a guest on radio and public TV shows. She is passionate about sharing the healing power of laughter, because she loves seeing how laughter breaks down walls between people and turns strangers into friends.
