Becoming a laughter yoga leader is a fun, effective way to bring more joy and healing into the world. The idea in laughter yoga (which we call laughter exercise at Toivo) is that you can laugh whenever you want without the use
of jokes or humor.
Unlike most Toivo offerings, this training has a cost. Please see details about the cost below.
Laughter yoga is a powerful, versatile stress management tool that can be taken into many different settings, including hospitals, psychiatric facilities, senior centers, schools, party venues, fundraising events, and workplaces. Companies such as Zappos and Hewlett Packard have offered laughter yoga to their employees.
In this training, you will learn how to tailor laughter yoga to the unique needs of different groups of people.
Laughter yoga can be shared for several different purposes, including alleviating stress, teambuilding, breaking the ice, and strengthening the ability to fight infection and disease, including cancer. Laughter yoga does not require any special flexibility. It can be done sitting in a chair or standing. The practice involves intentional laughter, deep breathing, and simple games that encourage youthful playfulness.
