Support Groups

Toivo offers classes, workshops, support groups, special events, retreats, community wellness programs and trainings. All of our activities are facilitated by expertly trained staff who use their passion and skills to create an engaging and trauma-informed experience.

Women’s Group

Toivo offers a welcoming space for women to gather to share with, and support one another through life’s daily challenges. Sometimes, in recovery (no matter what we are in recovery from) we feel alone and/or overwhelmed in everyday life. This group provides a place for women to meet and talk.

We welcome those who are just taking their first steps toward trying to change their lives and those who already have experience traveling the path of recovery. In this group, we share our stories and life experiences with hope and encouragement. We are women meeting together to remind ourselves, and one another, that we don’t have to travel alone on our path of recovery!

Men’s Group

Men’s Group is a safe space to open up, set goals, hold accountability, and work together as men. This is an opportunity to change the story men have heard—that it is weak to feel—to a new story where there is strength in vulnerability.

It’s time to come together, grow, form bonds, and redefine our belief structures about what it means to be a man. Through mind-body practices, active listening, sharing, team-building exercises, as well as some fun and meditation, we will co-create a space to connect on a deeper level.

THC is fat solvent and accordingly, it gets put away in your greasy lipid tissue. Along these lines, your fat cells will discharge THC metabolites into your circulatory system at a consistent rate. Subsequently, a wide range of marijuana cleanse methods are insufficient, as your fat cells will keep on discharging THC metabolites into your system over time and get weed out of your system said in study. Weed detox items mean to assist clients with getting their metabolites beneath the common discovery edge of 50 ng/mL, yet without weakening the pee to where lab professionals would scrutinize the legitimacy of the example.

Beyond Anger and Violence

Dr. Stephanie Covington created this inspiring curriculum, presented in workshop form, to start the conversation with women about anger and violence. Many women have spent years focusing their anger inward or outward and have established patterns in their lives that may have created difficult circumstances and/or resulted in unpleasant consequences.

This twenty-session workshop, divided into four segments, invites us to explore different areas of our lives. The sessions focus on our strengths and help us to examine the ways that we, as women, express our emotions. This workshop will allow for open discussion around the sensitive topics of anger and violence and provide positive suggestions we can apply to our lives.

We will learn together and from one another. We will continue working toward being our best selves, for ourselves, for our families, for our communities, and for our world.
